Sharon

Hello, my name is Sharon and I have been the Receptionist for our Batavia office and several satellite offices since 1981. I have the responsibility of scheduling our wonderful patients for their appointments. It has been my pleasure to greet and meet our parents and patients making sure they are welcomed to our office and all their concerns are attended to. I have enjoyed getting to know them all and see the beautiful smiles our doctors have created. It has been great fun working with Dr. Triftshauser, Dr. Salmon and Dr. deSa. We also have a super staff who are fun to work with.

Most of all, I love being with my husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, golf, gardening, boating, and babysitting our five grandchildren.

Julie

Hi, my name is Julie and I’ve been an Administrative Assistant with the practice since 1981. Through the years I have had the pleasure of watching our office grow and become part of a team. It is very rewarding to be a part of a practice that has such high standards for its patients and their needs, and it has also been an awesome experience to see our patients enjoy and share their beautiful smiles!

I am married and have two children. I enjoy snowmobiling, gardening, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Dona

Hello, my name is Dona and I’ve been with our practice since 1985. I have many job titles which I enjoy because I love the diversity that it offers. I am an Orthodontic Assistant, Administrative Assistant and occasionally I fill in as the Receptionist and take diagnostic records. Our doctors are wonderful and it is a pleasure working with some of the top orthodontists in Western New York. Most importantly, I love being a part of a positive experience for our patients during their treatment and it has been a pleasure meeting all of our parents and their children. It’s truly amazing to see the change in a person’s self-esteem after they go through this process and end up with a beautiful smile to show the world.

I am married, have five children, and four grandchildren. I most enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, music, gardening, photography, biking, and exercising.

Hello, my name is Lisa and I am the person who handles your financial arrangements and insurance claims. I have worked for the doctors since 1986 and have enjoyed getting to know all the patients and parents. I am here to help you with insurance, financial, flex plans, auto draft questions and any financial questions you might have. I pride myself on helping our patients to optimize their benefits and reduce their treatment cost.

Mary Ellen

Hello, my name is Mary Ellen and I’ve been the Treatment Coordinator since 1998. I absolutely love my job because I have the pleasure of meeting all our new patients and their families, along with our wonderful doctors, to explain what is involved with orthodontic treatment. Our office works as a team to be welcoming and make all of our patients comfortable when they come to see us. Orthodontics has such a positive impact on people and I love seeing the changes it makes in all our patients’ lives.

I am married and we have two grown children. I enjoy spending time with my family and I also love to cook, exercise, and read.

Denice

Hello, my name is Denice and I am an Orthodontic Assistant. I’ve been with our practice since 1992 and enjoy working with a great team of girls and three wonderful doctors. Along with assisting, I also have many expanded duties which include doing diagnostic records, ordering supplies for all of our offices, and office billings.

In my free time, I enjoy camping with my husband, our five children, and our dog, Ollie.

Peggy

Hello, my name is Peggy and I’ve been an Orthodontic Assistant since 2001. I enjoy talking to and meeting our patients, and I love to see their faces when their braces come off. Our office is family-oriented and enjoyable, and we try to make sure everyone is comfortable.

Outside of work, I have a wonderful husband, a daughter and son-in-law, a son, and a new grandson. I love spending time with my family, cooking and baking, and bringing goodies to the office. I love to read, shop till I drop, and water ski. I also volunteer and sing at my church.

Susan

Hello, my name is Susan and I am an Orthodontic Assistant. I have worked here since 2003 and enjoy working with all the girls in the office. I am currently in orthodontic treatment myself! I love to spend time with our patients and see the incredible effects our treatment has on our patients’ lives. It is great to see the beautiful smiles we help to give our patients.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, our six-year-old daughter, and our Chihuahua. In my free time, I enjoy yard work, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Hello, my name is Karie and I am an Orthodontic Assistant. I have been in treatment myself and I love what orthodontic treatment has done for my smile. Undergoing orthodontic treatment has given me a deeper appreciation for what our patients are experiencing during their treatment. I love that I can be part of a process that gives people beautiful smiles and higher self-esteem. I have worked here since 2005 and enjoy working with this wonderful team.

In my spare time, I am on the soccer field watching my boys play soccer and I love to watch the latest movies and go bike riding with my family.

Hello, my name is Talina and I’ve been with our practice since 2005 as an Orthodontic Assistant. I very much enjoy helping our patients achieve the confidence that comes from a wonderful smile. Our team is made up of wonderful people who truly care about our patients.

I have a son and in our free time we love going for walks with our dog to the park and just being outside. We also love to go camping, four-wheeling, and snowmobiling.

Hi, my name is Judy and I have been an Orthodontic Assistant since 1977. I am excited to be working for Dr. Salmon, Triftshauser and deSa in our Perry office and am pleased to be a part of their staff. One of the best parts of my job is seeing the beautiful smiles we create working together with the patient as a team. The end results can be awesome.

My favorite times outside of the office are spent with my husband and granddaughter. I enjoy antiques, walking, biking, and classic cars.

Hi, my name is Jessica. I have been with this practice since 1988. I started as an orthodontic assistant and now I am Office Manager/Receptionist. When parents and new patients call, I am the first person to have contact with them. It’s a pleasure meeting new people and making their experience in this office a good one by providing information about us, our team of great orthodontists – Dr.’s Salmon, Triftshauser and deSa and our skilled and caring assistants. Getting to know the people who come to our office and watch the progress they make as they achieve a beautiful smile is a very rewarding experience. I am married, have four children and five grandchildren. We enjoy outdoor activities, reading, traveling and being with family and friends.

My name is Betsy. I have had the pleasure of working with these wonderful doctors for 18 years. I have seen some amazing accomplishments done through orthodontics. It is with pride that I was and am still able to assist in some difficult situations from how the teeth erupt in malocclusion to aiding young people and adults after a significant accident. Part of my job includes doing diagnostic records which gives me the opportunity to be one of the first people to meet new patients and their families. Making patients feel at ease about their orthodontic experience is priority one from the beginning to the end when their new smiles are proof we’ve done our job well. Traveling to the Hornell and Wellsville offices has given me the chance to meet and work with a wide variety of patients who make my job a pleasure. My husband and I have three children and one granddaughter. I like to read, watch college football, sew and bake on my off time.

Hi, my name is Jaimee and I have been with this practice since September of 2004. My responsibility is working directly with the patients as an Orthodontic Assistant. I look forward to coming to work each day as I enjoy meeting and working with our patients and their families. I am a people-person and I feel a real satisfaction in assisting patients who are apprehensive or fearful when they first arrive and being able to change their feelings to enthusiastic and satisfied. I especially enjoy some of our youngest patients. Even after six years, I am still amazed at the transformation in our patients’ smiles when their treatment is completed. I feel truly fortunate to have the opportunity to work with some of the finest Orthodontists, office staff and clinicians you’ll meet anywhere. My husband and I love living here in Western New York. We have seven grown children and nine wonderful grandchildren. I enjoy music, comedy and trivia. I love the outdoors and family gatherings. Hi, my name is Tammy. I have been with the practice since June 2005 as an Orthodontic Assistant. I enjoy meeting and getting to know the patients and their families. It is a great feeling to see the smiles at the end of treatment and to know you played a part in getting that smile. The doctors are some of the best in the area. The clinic has a happy, family atmosphere. My husband and I were raised in Allegany County and are raising our three children here as well. I enjoy reading, NASCAR, football and traveling.
